Irl people want me to change. They wonder why I am not

More outgoing, social, spontaneous or emotional.

They wonder why I'm so stoic and boring. Yet they easily forget or realize that my repetitive routine, mental stability, and stoicism is what is keeping us financial afloat, paying the bills and even further able to afford us vacations.

You want me to be emotional not knowing what mood to expect everyday then making money and surviving would get a lot tougher.

You either have an emotional vibrant man with bills not getting paid or a boring stoic man with your stomach full and financial stability.

Thats how I am IRL but on here I'm a bit different since it's anonymous interaction and low commitment.

@OlderSometimesWiser there is a middle ground but it is challenging for me to do at the moment. It is a goal and work in progress

@cyberdude28 Hope you’re able to communicate with IRL people about why you’re feeling what you’re feeling, the work that’s in process and the goal so they can understand what’s happening and hopefully be more supportive moving forward. Sometimes just feeling understood helps one to feel less alone and relieves some of the pressure.
