Same. Mostly bc I was and I was constantly told just about every day that I was ugly and that specifically no man would ever want me. 😒
It took me a LONG while to have a glow up for a few reasons.
We usually think our younger selves are horrible or dorky but when I look back at younger, friendless me I realize why I had no friends for so long and I really WAS kinda goofy looking.
Photo proof for those doubting... Sorry it's rat shit after all these years but hey. I was about 10 here and no joke I was 5'2 and built like a grown woman with this mug. Ofc I had no friends.
I thought that too I think girls liked me they just don't initiate contact. Oddly now they seem more willing. Probably because I'm older and they think I've got money or something. If you hit the gym you know it'll do wonders. Looking good and turning women's heads doesn't actually do anything for you but it feels nice and it motivates you to eat clean and lift. It's probably the only time women improve your life instead of ruining it.
I think most of us felt that way. As for why no one liked you. That's 99% you just not noticing (believing) other people can like you, while they liked you.
