Repeated lightheadedness during or after workouts isn’t something to keep testing on your own. Stop exercising when it starts, sit or lie down somewhere safe, and arrange a medical appointment soon—especially since it happens nearly every session. Recurrent dizziness without a clear cause should be evaluated by a healthcare professional..😕

@Iknowyourouttheresomewhere I have booked an appointment. Will see a cardiologist soo.
@Simplyme33 Good 👍

When did you had your blood checked? Specially B12 and D3? Deficiency of those vitamins can affect you.
Simplyme33 · 31-35, F
@Nick1 Idk abt B12 but vitD was low. Im taking it.
Anon066 · 36-40, M
Usually that's a blood sugar issue but if eating doesn't affect it that's weird. Did you try eating carby foods?
Simplyme33 · 31-35, F
@Anon066 Actually on my first session, months ago, I threw up 😐 .but then it got better for like a month. And now it happens almost every session. My coach told me not to go to gym without having a banana before hand.

@Simplyme33 rice metabolizes fast and sugar usually spikes high.

Nothing beats protein for blood sugar. It takes a little while to effect but once it does it stabilizes right out.
You will become very tired as you fill up
Watch out for carbs without protein. Once the carbs burn off you could have an instant drop. You will get dizzy and sweat and have quite the headache

Simplyme33 · 31-35, F
@DeadOrbit I take supplements yes

Hopefully, it’s not a heart related issue….so, consult your physician on the matter
Typically, hydration is the main culprit for that condition.

@Rambler yeah booked an appointment for next week...
Rambler · 61-69, M
@Simplyme33 Good. If I was you I would take it easy till then.
Simplyme33 · 31-35, F
@Rambler thank u
Sapio · 51-55, M
You should definitely seek medical attention.
Rambler · 61-69, M
First I'd think of not having eaten or not had water. But if you've ruled those out, then I think I'd see a doctor. If there's any feeling of having a headache with this, then definitely see a doctor.
Simplyme33 · 31-35, F
@Rambler no headache no

blood pressure drops or your brain temporarily lacks enough oxygen and blood flow.
1. Sweating without drinking enough water lowers your blood volume and reduces blood flow to the brain
2. Hard exercise burns through glucose, leaving your brain low on energy.
3. Stopping intense exercise too fast keeps your blood pooled in your legs instead of circulating to your head
4. Holding your breath during heavy lifts restricts oxygen and affects your blood pressure
What to Do Right Now ?
1. Lower your head: Put your head between my knees & slowly count to 500

Breathlessness can cause that which could be related to lungs or heart
Simplyme33 · 31-35, F
@romell yes. I hope its not my heart and just me breathing not well enough
TexChik · F
Are you over weight, pregnant, diabetic, hypoglycemic? Do you have a heart condition? Anemia? Have you reported this to your doctor?
Simplyme33 · 31-35, F
@TexChik I have none. Im not overweight but Im not sure abt my heart. Booked an appointment with a cardiologist
BlueVeins · 26-30
Could be overtraining.
Simplyme33 · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins no its not. I keep it steady
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
Don't be hard on yourself in the gym. Eat something beforehand, anything. It's your body saying Slow down.
youngman1958 · 61-69, M
This will make me sound ancient. Get some tests done and make sure it's not a heart issue or something. It seems like as you get older, medical personnel ask you questions a lot more often about dizziness, shortness of breath, lightheadness, etc.
mazedona · 22-25, F
It could be a case of muscle dysmorphia, don't worry, it often happens in this generation flooded with social media full of walking, Brain stunted people trying to give advice in videos.
djjohnson · 46-50, M
I’ve been suffering from dizzy spells as well but not related to a work out. Turns out I’ve been clenching my jaw subconsciously and that’s been messing with my inner ear.
Simplyme33 · 31-35, F
@djjohnson oh I see. Yes that can happen
