Yesterday I had one of the most socially active day for real. What do you feel?
So yesterday first in Third Wave Coffee of Indiranagar area of our city Bangalore in India, I bumped into this Indian woman with whom I talked a few times before and we are both regulars there so we bump into each other often in that Cafe. Usually she is busy so we just greet but yesterday she took some break so we talked finally as she is a 20 something working professional from Kerala state of India and I am from Siliguri in West Bengal in India. It felt so refreshing to bump into a more known person. Then in Araku Cafe of Indiranagar, I socialized with these 2 Japanese expat women. At first when I initiated, they couldn't understand fully what I meant when saying them that I was just saying Hi so I had to make gestures to explain them I was saying Hi and then they relaxed and said me Hi back. I asked which country they are from and they said Japan. But when I asked them whether they are working in Bangalore or just traveling and they said "Actually our husbands work here so we live here now". Yeah they are married hehe but I didn't know obviously. I eventually said them "Okay then it was nice meeting you. Have a great day" and they said the same too. Later on when the staff from North East India came for billing, he literally spoke with them some Japanese words for real and internally I was like "Oh damn he knew their language?" Sadly I don't know Japanese so had to speak in full English.
Then in 1MG Lido mall of Trinity Circle, I initiated conversation with this German woman who is a flight attendant on Lufthansa Airlines on a layover. She was wearing a very sporty outfit tho and looked very pretty and was mostly around my age. We talked for a while in the grocery section of the mall and she mentioned she will be getting back on her flight in 2 hours. I also said how lucky she is as she gets to travel around the world which made her laugh hehe. Then in 1MG Lido mall itself, I initiated a conversation with a group of 4 British expat women all in their 30s to 40s and I am 25. It was an interaction full of laughs and banters for real. When I asked them how is their day going on too, one of them said "Its been great. Look how sunny it is today so what else do we need?" and laughed. I also asked whether they are working in Bangalore or just traveling and they said "We are working here but also traveling and looking around" and there was some laughter again. Sadly some of the banters and laughters went above my head. Eventually they were heading to the Marks & Spencers to buy some clothes so I ended they interaction wishing them a great day and they gave me a very energetic goodbye too. Very attractive women for real. Then I bumped into this another Indian woman in Starbucks of Brigade Road with whom I already talked a month ago in Third Wave Coffee of Church Street. She recognized me and we talked a lot more yesterday compared to the previous one as she was solo in the Cafe and she is in the final year of Fashion Design and looks absolute pretty for real and I loved talking to her.
But this interaction was what which stood out the most yesterday. In Starbucks of Lavelle Road, I initiated conversation with this British expat woman who said she actually came from Singapore and is working in Bangalore. This one stood out because unlike many of my seated Cafe interactions, there were no empty table next to her so I had to stand near her table and talk. We both matched in energy as both of us spoke quite loud in the Cafe. I was very open that I was trying to socialize with new people as I completed my MBA and that I enjoy talking to new people from different backgrounds and culture and she too said thats a really good thing that I am trying to socialize with people actually. It was a very mutual interaction but as we were talking, several people like a couple sitting nearby and another man too were often staring at me as I was confidently talking to her. Then 2 hours later, in this cute gift store named MiniSo in Church Street area, I initiated a conversation with this expat woman from Sweden. She was just absolutely gorgeous and very friendly. Just like those British women in the mall, she was laughing quite a lot too while talking and she also said that she is working in Bangalore but currently just shopping and laughed. Overall a brief but fun interaction with a Swedish expat.
At last you all won't believe but I bumped into that expat woman from New Zealand again. I met her last month in Church Street and it was our 3rd or 4th bump in after a gap of 4 weeks. We met in the metro station as we travel by the same metro and she works in Deccan Herald, a South Indian newspaper brand close enough to Church Street and this metro station. When I initiated, she made a surprised smile and said "OH MY GOD, I CAN'T BELIEVE WE ARE BUMPING INTO EACH OTHER LIKE THE 3RD TIME. REALLY CRAZY." I was worried whether she felt uncomfortable or not even though there was a 4 weeks gap and I literally showed her my metro ticket and said I travel by the same metro route so yeah thats why but she smiled and said "Yeah thats fine". And then she smiled and asked me "How are you doing?" and then I answered that I am doing good and I asked her as well and she said she is doing great. I asked her hows her work going on and she said its been good so far and its been a month now for her in Bangalore. Then security check happened which happens in metro stations which halted the conversation a bit. But yeah as I worried whether I did anything wrong by the bump-in, I apologized twice to her during the interaction even though she reassured each time saying "No. Its absolutely fine". Anyways our metro came and she was heading to the ladies coach so I wished her a great day and said her goodbye and she said the same and I entered the metro. Sadly due to the worries and all, I completely forgot to ask her Instagram. She is a beautiful woman somewhere in her 20s and we met for the 3rd or 4th time so it would have made sense to ask. Whether she would say no or ghost later is a different thing and I would have moved on but I didn't even ask as I justr forgot at the moment to ask her.
