Thinking back on all the cars 🚙 you’ve owned over the years, which ONE was your absolute favourite—and what made it so special?

My first car my grandma bought new. Red 1962 Chevy11 two door sedan post car three on the tree. Never seen another like it. They are either coups without the post or four doors. Second car was a 1967 Chevelle Malibu two door hard top. Also three on the tree.

1970 Mercury Cougar like this one without the landau top. It was a luxury mustang and a real hot rod. Was my every day driver and weekend on the track drag racer. I never should have let go of it

I own it now, but it needs work. 1965 Mustang with Pony interior.

The one I own now, because it's the fastest.

2001 Lincoln LS - motor trend car of the year

I had an Infiniti a few years ago.
It was such a splendid ride.
I even had some guys try to roll up on me because I drove one.
I still miss her. 🙂

I traveled across the country and back in this beauty. I did have to sell it but I plan to have another some day when I'm ready for that life again.

I had no "absolute favourite" but remember one of my three (separately) Vauxhall-Bedford CA vans with affection.

I became quite adept at servicing these, but the particular one was a caravanette, a genuine Martin-Walker 'Dormobile' conversion. (I do not use the term "camper", but it had not yet crossed the Atlantic at the time anyway.)

I say "genuine" because the 'Dormobile' became popular enough for the name being used generically for any modest-sized motor-caravan.

It speaks for itself, doesn't it?
