Are they gonna keep making him work overtime?

Basically they gave him tons of work from the start, so because he's not used to working there yet and has to ask questions, he ends up working overtime, and I'm wondering how much of a red flag that is? Like, this whole job is a red flag in and of itself, but what I'm wondering is: When he picks up the speed, are they just gonna give him even more work, so that he continues to have to work overtime in the future too?

My view on that is that he should work hard, learn the job until they depend on him. Then the table can turn.

From my experience a worker that's allowed to have a woman will do much better than the worker not allowed to have a woman.

@FloorGenAdm Dafuq are you talking about? o.O
My guess? Yes. From what you’ve described that place really is one big red flag.

@OlderSometimesWiser It's by default 9 hours which includes a 1 hour break, but he did have to work on the break today, and he'll probably work another hour at least, so that's 10 hours, and then he still has the part-time job so that's 2 more hours, so 12, possibly 13 in total. He doesn't want to quit the part-time job because we already know that they pay him, don't make him work overtime, and are not scammers (they're Amazon resellers but whatever) ~ and the part-time job may have more work for him in the future. At this rate he'll be completely burned out, it's so not worth it. I'm worried they won't even pay him when the time comes.
@Nightwings Yep, this place sounds like bad news. I’d hold onto the part time job and keep looking for a better full time job. Any way you could help him search? Sounds like his time to search would be very limited with all the hours he’s working. And/or is there work you can pick up to supplement your income?
