So yesterday I had a very interesting interaction with someone from Taiwan. What do you feel about it?

So yesterday in Starbucks of Lavelle Road in our city Bangalore in India, I initiated conversation with a woman who happened to be from Taiwan. She is an expat working here and she is from the city Taipei. Very interesting to meet some from Taiwan here in Bangalore. So at first we were talking about what we do like she works in an architecture firm whereas I mentioned done with an MBA, our names, how long we have been in Bangalore etc. but you all won't believe I also mentioned about the Tai-Wah restaurant in my home Siliguri in West Bengal in India. So Tai-Wah is a Chinese restaurant in Siliguri which I used to think is a Taiwanese style restaurant until I ate there in 2022. Due to the name being so similar to "Taiwan" I always assumed the restaurant had connections to the country.

So when I said there is a restaurant Tai-Wah in my hometown Siliguri, she immediately became curious and asked me whether they make Taiwanese food there and then I said no it's a Chinese restaurant and i spelled the name of the restaurant and she then laughed about it even though she had no idea where Siliguri is haha. I said her that I never tasted real Taiwanese food yet and she said me it's really great and that I should try it and some of the food is close enough to some Japanese dishes. Overall a great interaction with a really cute woman from Taiwan. This was a seated interaction at a table next to hers. Wish it could have lasted longer tho hehe and eventually we could connect online. Other than her, I also talked with a group of 3 German women(1 white and 2 Asians) in 1MG Lido mall of Trinity circle. The white woman was the one who engaged tho and we talked a lot and she is a tourist who is only here for a day or 2 but very pretty and sweet woman. And then later in UB City mall with an older expat woman from New Zealand who is working in one of the corporate offices of UB City and she is mostly in her 40s and I am 25. It was brief but she was so bubbly and confident when talking which felt attractive and good to me honestly. But yeah the Taiwanese interaction was one which stood out to me.
