In your opinion should I trust this and appear for the interview?
So as you all know I am 25 and have been searching for a job for over a year already as a whole and completed my MBA 9 months ago. So I had been applying, giving interviews (and getting ghosted) and also asked one of my friend to help too and he shared my resume to his network. But yeah today I got a call from this company New Era Technology which is an international company and has a presence in the Indian cities Bangalore and Hyderabad and currently hiring for the Bangalore branch for an IT Analyst role. But I am worried whether its legitimate or not as I didn't apply for it and they called me after seeing my profile in the Naukri job portal(Naukri is an Indian job portal). Today I will have an online interview round at around 3 PM which will test my communication skills. The work itself will be work from office tho so yeah its not some remote job actually. But this person is saying the office location is in Kodathi area which is in Eastern part of Bangalore which is only 10 km from my broader home area Marathahalli but when I searched the company on the internet, only the address in Central Bangalore area in Ashok Nagar is shown. The Google AI says there is also a local branch in the Kodathi area but the physical address isn't shown properly on Google like the Ashok Nagar address is shown so I am kinda worried. The pay is also kinda less (just rupees 3 LPA) but I am more worried whether its legitimate or not.
I was recently pretty much scammed when I got a similar call about a Data Analyst role from a US based company who claimed they had Indian locations in Hyderabad and Bangalore and it was a remote job and they took structured online interviews and even I cleared it and they appreciated and complimented how well I did the interview and then completely ghosted me after sending the selection email. Later I found out the company has 0 presence in India. They even blocked their incoming calls so yeah only they could call me but I couldn't. I still have no idea why it happened and why they did that but it was a very bad experience. Today's one really does have a presence in these 2 Indian cities and there is one physical address even if its in Ashok Nagar but again they only asked whats my highest educational qualification in the call but nothing about my resume or based on whats written and just explained the job description and asked whether I am fine with it or not and that they are hiring freshers. I am really very eager to get a job but I really don't know whether its fake, whether its shady or just a new startup, whether they will ask any money or fees later on etc. Monday I have another interview but at least I applied there for real through Naukri and they have a location in HSR Layout area of our city and also the pay is better (4.5 LPA). So yeah I am worried about what to do.
