I used to be like a superhuman.

I remember sprinting 3 miles (5k) nonstop without getting tired. People seem to think this is an exaggeration or vague description. No. I would fully sprint full speed an entire 3 miles without stopping, and only at the end would I begin to feel the slightest bit of exhaustion.

I remember one time I was making wine with a group of people, and we were using physical labor as opposed to machinery. I was mixing the wine. They planned on alternating roles, switching from person to person, winding the big spoon. I turned the spoon, over, and over, and over, indefinitely, and they started to get concerned that I was getting tired.

I was not.

I kept turning the spoon. They stopped me because they were concerned about my stamina. Another one took over the job for me, mixing the wine. Another one of them said, "It's like the young quarterback who doesn't realize what a job they signed up for." Since I gave them the spoon, they thought I was tired.

I was not. I only gave them the spoon because they insisted.

That is how I used to be. I could perform any physical task and never get tired.

The manager of a fitness company tried to endorse me. She told me I could make a career out of my abilities.

Then I found alcohol. I couldn't get enough. It made me lethargic.

I've gained weight since then. I've beome lazy. I've gone out of shape. Even my mental health and hopes and dreams have collapsed.

I really could have been something in my 20's. I had potential.

Now I'm just nothing.

Alcohol. There's a lot of lives it's damaged but there's always hope. I've been there and it's not a good place.
@PatientlyWaiting25 You're better now?
