"I’ve been practicing removing my knowledge multiple times throughout the day and simply living without it."

How do you accomplish this?
Reject · 31-35, M
@Akimbo75 Well that’s the trick, isn’t it? It’s something I’ve been working at for many years now. Our brains are naturally quite eager and will rush instinctually to comprehend anything it can. You calmly tell it step aside and let your heart give love first. Then your brain may use that however it sees fit. It’s a minor correction but one you must do diligently over and over again for as long as it takes. To rework all the deep ruts of natural behavior you’ve been treading for decades can take just as many to reverse making this a lifestyle rather than a simple answer or solution. But it remains the most worthwhile endeavor I’ve ever taken.

I really like the idea of removing the labels and assumptions we put on things and just experiencing them as they are.

I’m not sure I’d say we experience nothing but truth, because our perceptions can definitely mislead us.

But I do think there’s something powerful in recognizing how much of what we call reality is actually our interpretation of it.

Maybe understanding isn’t always about knowing more. Sometimes, it is about recognizing what is already there.

@CookieCrumbs Cookie. Can you not see how little sense you’re making?

First our perceptions can definitely mislead us. Yeah, I agree.

Then it’s not about true or false…. Which contradicted a perception being able to mislead someone. If it’s not about true or false, then how can they be mislead? If someone interprets intent incorrectly. Is that not false?

Now it’s about needing to define what true and false is for us which goes against your previous point that it’s not about true or false.

You’re getting lost in the weeds. What are these mental acrobatics for? What are they serving? Are you going to dodge my questions again with more statements that are true by themselves, but failing to address my point?

Let make this rather simple. Why have you insisted upon impugning my position? The one where I say that we experience nothing but truth and it’s our personal biases that determine it a falsehood. I don’t mind. I like it when people do this to me, but I lose interest when it’s not to discuss something. It’s just to prove something. That’s what it seems like you’re doing to me. I could very well be mistaken. As your words are very true, and I agree with just about all of them, but your actions tell a different story. If you can’t keep things clear in your articulation, then that means there’s another motive. So can you tell me yours?
@Reject
There is no other motive. I apologize if you’re seeing it that way.

I guess you see me as off tangent on this particular view. Maybe I’m seeing it differently.
Let’s leave it at that.
Reject · 31-35, M
@CookieCrumbs Yes. People try much too hard to explain things that need no explanation. Things that are very simple, at least until we overcomplicate them. That’s truth for you. It’s a simple thing. So simple even a child knows it. Actually, I believe it’s the kids who are closer to truth than any adult with their needless valuations. How we see it, never mattered.
This is what happened the last time i ate 3 gummies.

@ReptilianFromPlanetCrush I got here without gummies, but I’m not sure what that says about me. 😂 Maybe I’m just out of my mind, but I’m happy to be here.
@Reject deep thoughts, my friend.
Magenta · F
Truth never had to be grand or revelatory with all this pomp and circumstance. I believe it’s found in the smallest of things, that no one seems to care about.

Without the burden of thoughts and defining to tell me what things are, I get to love them as they are. There doesn’t need to be more. There doesn’t need to be less. There just is and that’s all there ever needed to be
.
This!

The endless long drawn out need to define and explain everything for some, is exhausting.🍪
Reject · 31-35, M
@Magenta It’s the lies we tell ourselves or others that need the explanation and the defense, as they cannot stand on their own. They must be justified. Over-intellectualization is the favored pastime of those who depend on the glamour and pretense. But those who want the most have the least.

@Reject You're so smart. 😊

100% this!
Over-intellectualization is the favored pastime of those who depend on the glamour and pretense.
Right here on this thread too.
Reject · 31-35, M
@Magenta Aww. I appreciate that. I can’t tell you how often I had to be dumb first though. I know what you mean. Intellect is a tool and no matter how powerful it is, a tool can be misused. If its wielder needs to be right, then its misuse is a promise. I only got to where I am after reflecting on all the ways I was deeply wrong.
I love this.

There doesn’t need to be more. There doesn’t need to be less. There just is and that’s all there ever needed to be.

You are trying a little too hard to be Zen-like without attributing credit. That being said, if you remove your knowledge to live caveman-style in true animal spirit, then you failing to understand what is deeply meaningful, since that would be inserting your knowledge.

So, in reality, you are either being deceptive on purpose or choosing to live in denial. That is going to lead to a whole series of unresolved conflict later on.
