Musings on reality.
Just because you can see something that’s real. You can identify it, interact with it, you can even predict or alter its properties. None of these things mean you understand reality.
Everything illusory was never based on what isn’t real. All of it is actually very rooted in real feelings. Real perceptions. Rather, what’s false comes from what your mind makes of it. Your interpretation is the final filter determining how much you will or won’t understand the true nature of reality.
All of us experience nothing but the truth our entire lives. It’s our personal biases that make us determine it a falsehood. Truth never had to be grand or revelatory with all this pomp and circumstance. I believe it’s found in the smallest of things, that no one seems to care about.
I’ve been practicing removing my knowledge multiple times throughout the day and simply living without it. It’s taught me just how little I understood about existence. I do things now that I spent the greater part of my life thinking I couldn’t. I see in a way that I never did before. I’m experiencing choices that make even the most mundane, trivial, and insignificant of matters deeply meaningful.
Without the burden of thoughts and defining to tell me what things are, I get to love them as they are. There doesn’t need to be more. There doesn’t need to be less. There just is and that’s all there ever needed to be.
