Does anyone still use a typewriter?

i bet the peeps who used typewriters back in the day could type more words per minute than people typing on a standard computer keyboard

I just repaired my granddaughters full manual typewriter it's from the 1940s

There are still legal requirements for hard carbon copies, although the paper is now pressure sensitive, getting rid of the carbon sheet. These are especially used where so-called wet signatures are required. Meaning the original signature has to appear on all copies. Xerox copies are not acceptable in these cases.

Yeah, I have one and I enjoy using it for shorter works. Otherwise, it's back to Microsoft Word. Haha!
