I’m sorry if I’ve ever come across as unfriendly or mean toward you. I honestly think online Western culture can be much more judgmental and dismissive than real life, especially when people don’t understand the context behind someone’s posts. It doesn’t mean you should stop posting or sharing your thoughts. I get very little engagement on some of my posts too, and I’ve learned to just put something out there, go about my day, and not let strangers’ reactions bother me. You’re right that most people here don’t know the full context of your life, so they’re judging a small piece of what they see. Keep being yourself, keep meeting people in the real world, and don’t let a few people behind a keyboard make you question yourself.

People can act like jerks online. Hard and cruel fact. I’m sorry they are being mean to you. A happy person wouldn’t be mean to you. And remember if they don’t like your content, they can always keep scrolling down.
