Wow today also I had an amazing interaction honestly and it boosted my mood. What do you feel about it?
So today I took a slightly different route in our city Bangalore in India by first starting with Orion mall and then coming back to Lavelle Road and Church Street. So in Church Street, i unexpectedly met this expat woman from New Zealand. Yeah I initiated a conversation with her saying that I am just saying Hi to new people. You all won't believe she actually appreciated my confidence and she also said she wishes she had the confidence for this too as she likes meeting new people. So we started talking. She said she is working in Deccan Herald which is an Indian newspaper published in Southern India which she got by scholarship so it's her first week in Bangalore. Then I shared about my MBA as well and she asked about it. She is from the city Auckland so I asked about the differences between Auckland and Bangalore and she says Auckland is a major city in NZ but still she finds Bangalore much bigger but she likes the weather as she doesn't have to wear jacket a lot. I also said about the lack of rain this year and she too laughed and wondered why no rain and she literally bought rain jackets here. I also said that I would love to visit NZ one day as I love knowing about different cultures and she asked me whether I like the movie Lord of the Rings but I didn't watch it so was honest that I didn't and she said usually most people usually know her country due to the movie.
I then said I just feel curious about different countries and also talked with exchange students and also foreign delegates visiting our MBA campus. So she asked me which countries were they from and I said France, Germany and Japan. She felt surprised by Japan as said she didn't expect Japan for real. We talked a lot and had lots of laughs in the interaction honestly. She is also mostly in her 20s and within my age group for sure and I am 25. I honestly also found her attractive and pretty but yeah I was fully composed. I wish I could ask her Instagram or at least a Linkedin. I didn't expect to end the day so good. She was also quite tall pretty much my height(I am 176-177 cm maybe 178 cm) so yeah we had a direct straight line eye contact while talking. Eventually we had to catch the metro so we ended the interaction with a handshake.
By the way she wasn't the only one. An hour or 2 ago before this one, while walking in Lavelle Road, I initiated conversation with 2 women from Canada as well. They were actually a mother-daughter pair. The daughter is working in Bangalore basically mostly in her 20s to maybe early 30s. But yeah there was labrador dog standing at a gate so the daughter was more busy adoring the dog. So I was talking with the older woman(her mom). They were friendly and we talked quite a lot but she wasn't able to hear some things I was saying so yeah I couldn't ask much about Canada or other things like I did with the NZ woman. The daughter acknowledged me too and we talked a bit but as they had to head somewhere I said okay it was nice meeting you, have a great day. So yeah it ended. Wish I could talk more tho especially with the daughter as she was really very pretty, had a sweet smile and a sweet voice too. Hehe the cute dog was the lucky one here (Just kidding haha).
