At the ER (title is long enough)

@0uijaFinger I'm okay, thank you, I'm just in a ton of pain. Haven't slept more than 2-3 hours each night in over a week. Something more serious has been ruled out thankfully. But the pain is destroying me. I still need help.

@Softy1 Really bad pain a few other concerns with I'd rather not say.

@EldritchFox I'm so sorry to hear this. Were there lots of others waiting around? That sounds frustrating!!! It's even harder to wait if you're not feeling well.

@Mindful The ER was empty and now I know why. They wanted me to lay there but laying down hurts. I don't think after 3-4 hours and me telling them over and over that they ever realized Maki me lay there hurt.

@HijabaDabbaDoo I can live without empathy but the lack of professionalism is what gets me. Last year somebody died in a waiting room and they didn't even realize it until a nurse came back for her next shift and noticed the same guy sitting there. It's really bad in this area.

@EldritchFox that's heartbreaking. I'm sorry. I wish you had better access to actual adequate healthcare. I've known someone who didn't know she was diagnosed with cancer until they called her for a 'follow up' appointment. That's how she found out. Genuinely can't comprehend the carelessness. Makes me sad. Unfortunately it's a lot of constant advocating for yourself until something lands and is considered. Hope you find the help you need💙

@HijabaDabbaDoo You are right we have to be our own advocates. I ended up proud of myself in the end and got the results I needed (somehow in about 10 minutes after I spoke up 🙄). Plus the discharge papers 😂 They treat people with government medical help differently here too. We are seen as less important in an already understaffed situation. So some people think I'm a beotch... Beotches need help too lol

@faery I need a referral to a specialist but it's going to take forever. I don't know wtf to do. I hate it here.

@JimboSaturn I was trying to avoid the hospital I normally use because it's Friday at the beach. It'd of taken hours to get there.

I usually avoid this place because I've had awful experiences there before. But I was in so much pain and it's 15 minutes from home.

I will sit in traffic next time.

@EldritchFox I'll never understand human nature and quite frankly I don't even think it deserves studying anymore
