The reason I literally froze yesterday and still how the day ended well. What do you feel?
So yesterday I didn't really socialize much but in Church Street area of our city Bangalore in India, which is the cosmopolitan and youthful pedestrian only part of our city, something happened which gave me an adrenaline rush for a few seconds. So yeah in Church Street I sometimes socialize too especially with women and I did wave and greet "Hello" to some women while passing by. We didn't talk and it was just me saying them Hi while passing by. Some smiled back and a few were confused but I said them "I am just saying Hi to new people. Hope you are having a good day" and then they smiled and said Hi and continued walking. But when I reached close to the metro station in Church Street, I saw 2 or 3 guys who are in their 20s too walking full fast aggressively and shouting something. Maybe some conflict happened there which does sometimes happen in a high footfall area like Church Street but i got an adrenaline rush thinking what if they were coming towards me to confront me.
Yes my bullying history and all made it feels more intense as other boys often tried to intimidate and even humiliate me in school. I was worried whether they were one of the possessive boyfriends of those women i greeted even though the women were either alone or only with female friends or what if those guys were just trying to moral police me for socializing as moral policing does happens in some parts of India. I literally froze and stood thinking they will confront me in the public and my reputation will be ruined but they ran past me inside the metro station which shows they were going after someone else or something happened which had nothing do with me. I felt a sigh of relief and said "Phew thank God". I even laughed a bit at myself for always imagine the worst case scenarios.
Then several minutes later I initiated conversation with 2 French women who were tourists and one of them even works in the Indian city Pondicherry now not too far from Bangalore. We talked a lot. They were both very pretty, 20 somethings and I am also 25, asking me questions, even related that they also understand how hard it is to meet people after college when I explained that MBA is done recently so just being social. We talked quite a lot, asked about each other, asked names, laughed a bit during the interaction and it was such a good end to the day. So yeah I didn't expect the day to end so good like that especially after that adrenaline rush moment.
