Hello ladies and gents. Did you watch cartoons when you were a kid. I did. There were so many of them back in the day. Especially the 1980s. My favorite was definitely The Transformers. Of course you have heard of them before. What was your favorite of all time. I'm listening. Best cartoon wins. ☺ 🧸
Most of the out-and-out cartoons that used to be on British TV, rather than puppet or stop-motion animations of models, were American imports.
Most were dire. The ones I liked, and which stood out for quality of artwork and sound-tracks were the Tom & Jerry ones produced by MGM - not the cheapskate Hannah-Barbra knock-offs.
Of the UK-made shows my favourites even though I was long grown-up (allegedly) were The Clangers and Wallace & Gromit; both of them stop-motion works not drawn cartoons.
