My friend told me people will think I'm a child

Because I spoke about my cuddly (toy) doggo on FB and how it's not manly for a guy my age to do so. But I'm like what is a people? 🤔 Who cares dude.

I'm trying to do something new and blogging about my health. Obviously only sharing the parts I feel comfortable with sharing. Overall I'm doing it for me I can take criticism but only if it makes sense lol

I used to have a supervisor at an old job who came from a culture where being "manly" wasn't something they normally thought about consciously. Nonetheless, this guy was super manly. He was buff, had a rough (but just) past, worked hard, handled complicated situations calmly, and most importantly in this context, wasn't afraid to show affection. Even to men. He called me his brother and would frequently rest his hand on my shoulder while talking and sometimes hug me.

To be so secure in your masculinity that you're still yourself even when some idiot calls it "not manly" — like speaking openly about your cuddly dog — is the most manly thing a person can do.
You just tell me who they are and I’ll have William talk to them.

Real men don't care if others think they're manly.
Nobody intelligent would think that. A person who loves his pet is a person with a heart. 😊🐶
@bijouxbroussard It's my toy dog I've shown here.

If it was real I would have posted a million post about it 🥰
@PiecingBabyFaceTogether I posted a picture awhile back of a toy I fancied…😄
@bijouxbroussard I remember that
Watch Marines or policemen with their K-9s off duty or even on-duty.

They are all business on a mission. They praise the dog in high-pitched voices, then take them for pup cups.
That's so lame and tunnel visioned of them. I thought it was endearing and relatable. Do what you want
