Today's interaction surprised me how diverse Netherlands is. Do you feel wow too?
So as I said yesterday I socialized with these 2 women from Netherlands in this Cafe in Lavelle Road of our city Bangalore in India and one of them was a Black woman and another was a white woman and it surprised me as I didn't know the Netherlands had black people because obviously I was born in India and grew with other Indians. Today I again went out as I had an interview at morning and later in 1MG Lido mall of Trinity Circle of our city, i talked with this another woman from Netherlands but she looked more Latino/Hispanic. Yeah I was truly amazed by how diverse the country is. She was very bubbly tho and we talked a lot. This was one of my best cross-cultural interaction. She was only in Bangalore for a day tho for some work and she is leaving tonight. We exchanged names and talked a lot. She asked so much about me and shared about her city Amsterdam, whether I have been there, saying how cold it is and many more. She is also mostly in her 20s and I am 25. She also said she is leaving tonight so she won't be able to explore Bangalore even though she wanted to explore more. Overall a great interaction.
Other than her i also talked with this woman from New Zealand. She is older tho mostly in the 40-50 age range. First time talking with someone from New Zealand so I literally said her "Oh wow nice to meet someone from New Zealand" and she replied "Yes New Zealand is an amazing country and you would love it". I also mentioned how I love socializing with new people and she said that's a great thing. So yeah we were talking and she just naturally mentioned that her son is also traveling in Sri Lanka and he will be joining her here in Bangalore. So yeah she is a married woman with a son so yeah even though it was a good interaction, i disengaged fast enough saying it was nice meeting you, have a great day and she said the same.
