I’m starting to practice this now too. I don’t want access given to people who make me doubt myself or question my worth. I’m trying to be more intentional about who I allow in because my space and peace matter more than forcing connections.

That's what I prefer to boundaries.

A fence that doesn't block out anyone and everyone, but let's people know they aren't invited in until I invite them in.

Then I'm responsible for how I proceed without feeling trapped in my own space.
