I’m putting on my 'brave girl' face today... even though I’m terrified.

I’m starting something that’s way out of my comfort zone.

what are you going to do??
Just remember that comfort zones sometimes exist for a reason.

Good luck otherwise.
@NativePortlander1970 "sometimes" .. I think you missed that word.

I/we don't know what this girl is about to start. She might be starting something where her comfort zone might normally keep her safe (from it).

It could be simple, like you're thinking - or it might be deeper. We don't know. I stayed on the side of safety for her.
@Magicianzini There was a flashback episode of Star Trek: TNG, with Q involved, where Picard took a safe route and chose not to engage in a fight where his did not get stabbed. It changed his entire demeanor where he always played it safe, and the consequences were that he never got noticed and never got meaningful promotions that would have led to command, he became medicore. Take chances in life, if mistakes are made lessons are learned and better decision making happens. A successful person has a thousand failures and keeps going, they get right back up, a quitter never tries to begin with. I NEVER give up, I have lived a life that would make many timid people piss themselves, I took more chances I can even think of. You are splaining to the wrong person.
@NativePortlander1970 We're still having two different conversations, weird.

I'll leave you talk to yourself.
