So these are the 2 international interactions I had today. What do you feel?
So today as it was a Tuesday, most venues in Central areas of our city Bangalore in India had low foot traffic at afternoon so I couldnt socialize much at first and feeling disappointed but I got a huge surprise. In Starbucks of Lavelle Road area, I saw this foreign woman working on her laptop. I sat at a table close enough to her and initiated a conversation with her saying I am just saying Hi to new people. She responded well. I asked whether she is working in Bangalore or just travelling and she said she is working so yeah she is an expat. She is from Russia actually. I am 25 and she is also close enough in age to me. So I mentioned about my MBA done and she was impressed and congratulated me. I asked her how is she finding the city and she said it's hotter than she expected because she heard Bangalore is milder in climate. But I said this is how April is here. She also said she loved Cubbon Park a lot and i suggested her Lalbagh Botanical Garden too. I also asked her whether she has been to UB City mall and I mentioned drinking a Slushie there. She also asked me whether I came to Starbucks to work too but I said her that I just came here to chill and have coffee. She also asked me whether I enjoy Starbucks coffee but I said I just love coffee in general. We exchanged names and I said her name is unique. We eventually ended the interaction saying have a great day and I also said her I enjoyed talking to her and we had a handshake and damn her hand was so soft. She was truly a gorgeous woman and I loved the conversation so much with her.
Then in Vittal Mallya Road close to Lavelle Road and UB City mall, I saw this another woman who came out of this bar named The Biere Club and standing on the sidewalk in front of the bar. It was around 4:30 PM at evening by the way. I thought she was idle and just waiting for cab so I again initiated a conversation with her saying Hello and that I am just saying Hi to new people and she smiled and said Hi nice to meet you Then while talking she said she is working in Bangalore so yeah she is an expat too. She is from Sweden actually. We were talking a bit but I came to know she was waiting there to cross the road and go to the other side to go to UB City mall. So yeah when the roads cleared and she was almost about to cross the road, I ended the interaction saying "Okay have a great day" and she too said you too have a great day and eventually crossed the road and we went our own ways. Yeah I ended it as I would have had to cross road with her while talking and that feels intrusive and forced as we are strangers so yeah. She was beautiful too tho but was wearing sunglasses. If only I was inside UB City mall, maybe we could have talked more in the mall courtyard area.
