Doubt is a Lack of Conviction Regarding Belief

Don't get me wrong, I want to have a reason to believe
Unfortunately I don't
And I am unwilling to unconditionally believe
why
Because I have not seen anything indicating on the contrary

Alternatively, I see division
I see stubbornness
I see the same mistakes done time and time again...by different people
Over what
Belief
Greed
and
Ego

Ego is the root of the problem
Isn't it
Pride and Conceit
Yuck

Instead of seeing this world as My place
by me
for me
It's more like, this is where we are all at
Together
all impacting and influencing each other
for better or for worse
Like the oceans, swaying into each other
where one end directly...or indirectly....Influences the other side
Our actions will directly...or indirectly...impact everyone around us, who then have an influence on those around them...and so forth

Are we too far down this rabbit hole to right our ship on this ocean
or, are we destined to repeat past failures

I want to believe
I just don't
can't
won't
Until I see proof of otherwise
For better or for worse
