Soooo these were 3 of my amazing interactions today for real. What do you feel about it?
So yeah I will start with this. So in Indiranagar area of our city Bangalore in India which is also the hipster neighborhood of our city, i saw this woman who is a foreigner having coffee there in a Cafe. As there were no empty tables close to her, I walked up to her and initiated a conversation. She also smiled and said Hi. So I said her that I am just saying Hi to new people and she smiled and said oh that's good. Then I asked whether she is working in Bangalore too and she said she is working here and living in the city for 3 years. She is from the UK. She is about 30-35 year old and I am 25 and we had a good interaction. She asked me some questions like whether I am from the city and about my MBA when I mentioned it. I also asked her how she is finding the city and she said she is loving it and we exchanged names. She was also really gorgeous and blonde and I enjoyed it but I ran out of topics to talk about so ended the interaction saying have a great day and she said the same too. But I wished I talked more and asked more questions and continued it but something unexpected happened. While leaving, she literally said me "Okay have a good day" without me initiating anything and I also said her bye with a smile. It felt unexpected as this was the first time it happened in a cold approach scenario. Yeah it was just basically friendliness but given my history of getting bullied, isolated, missed out teen years and Indian upbringing, this moment still felt soooo special. Really hoping to bump into her again some day as she is an expat living here.
Then in 1MG Lido mall of Trinity Circle, I approached this another woman from Germany. She was also very friendly and she said she is a flight attendant. She is mostly in her mid 20s or late 20s and she said she is a flight attendant on Lufthansa Airlines. I was genuinely impressed and asked her whether it's a Boeing 747 and she said yes and I was like I would love to sit on Boeing 747 as I feel it's an impressive flight. I also asked her how many countries she has been to and she said she has been to multiple countries like Japan, Korea, Brazil, US, South Africa etc which impressed me further. I said she is so lucky and I said I would love to travel like that. Then I said about my MBA to her as well. So she asked me what field did I study and I said Business Analytics and said I am searching for a job now and she said me best of luck for that. Not gonna lie tho she was absolutely pretty and had beautiful eye color so her beauty was distracting me but yeah I definitely kept it platonic. We exchanged names and she after trying so hard pronounced it correct so I laughed and said she pronounced it correct and she laughed too. Then we said okay have a great day and a handshake.
Then in Church Street area of our city, I approached this another woman who is an expat from the US. She also came here for work and it's a week. She has been one of the bubbliest woman I spoke too. She was loud and confident and had that recognisable American accent. She asked too whether I am from Bangalore itself but I said I am from West Bengal but living in Bangalore since 2008. She also said how she is loving Bangalore especially Church Street. We exchanged names too and as usual she struggled to pronounce my name and we had a laugh. As usual i shared about MBA and she congratulated me for completing it freshly. She was also really tall basically the same height as me(I am 176-177 cm) but that didn't matter. She was so damn friendly and bubbly and I felt so energetic with this conversation. We ended it with nice to meet you and she herself said "Let me give you a handshake" and we had a firm handshake. Damn her confidence and bubbly nature felt so attractive to me for real.
