Volkswagen should bring back the Beetle as an electric car. They can call it the Lightning Bug.

LOL! Of course it won't look much like the VW

As BMW did to the original BMC Mini concept and design, any outline resemblance to any real VW "Beetle" living or dead would be purely co-incidental and not intended; it would approach Ford Ranger or Range-Rover bulk externally for no more room inside, it won't fit your garage (or it might but you'd not be able to open the door); and being electric it will be far heavier!
