I worked with a guy who, after work, would sit in the local grocery or Walmart parking lots, sometimes both. He'd sit there and people-watch, all while smoking tobacco in his pipe for 2-3 hours every day. Many have said as much, so I'm not the only one to notice it.

I've occasionally waited to the end of a particular radio programme or piece of music.

I sleep in the car only for a rest during a long journey.

I don't "doom scroll". As far as I know it means than flipping randomly and pointlessly through the Internet; but I can't do that in the car even if I wanted to, which I don't.

Meditate? No, not really. I may sit admiring a view though, if parked somewhere safe to do do.

I used to get stuck in my car, from anxiety. I couldn’t make myself go in my house. It took between 30 minutes and 2 hours to be able to get out

When i had a car I'd occasionally sit in it and listen to the end of a programme or reply to any texts i got while driving. Once i fell asleep and the police knocked on my window

i have the seat is sooo comfortable, and just to enjoy the feeling of the warm sun hitting the glass on a cold windy day

I have sometimes waited to hear the end of a gripping play or discussion before getting out to do the shopping.
