Have you ever felt empty and out of passion in your late 20s?

Currently, I am feeling a bit stuck.
I got a good work, try to exercise more, try communicating more with friends, and plan some exams/certification that will help me with my career — but I have this sinking feeling that I can’t rid off and makes me just want to spiral out of control.

I got no problem making my friends a bit happy when they feel this way. But can’t seem to make myself better.

Growing up, I never had a firm education on mental health — I’m contemplating into going to therapy or something (like should I go to psychologist and have them examine me? Or is it a psychiatrist I should be consulting?… really unsure).

I want to help myself, to not feel empty, to feel passionate about something, be motivated.. however, these past few days, I’ve been feeling so dysfunctional… Like I need someone to just drill some sense into me… or tell me what to do.

I don’t wanna end up like my uncle who just spiraled out of control and off himself. Or my father who went all bipolar on us — hurt us emotionally.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you..

@stayfickle one thing about life, it goes in cycles. Always seek peace of mind, it’s priceless.

@therighttothink50 thank you for the wisdom. I guess one thing I can do is to listen to motivational songs. I’ve listened to the Looking for space (reminds me of the band Bread) and it’s a lil bit uplifting.
I’m now adding this on my YouTube song queue along with some Keane songs.
