I sent someone a message on Instagram to tell them to join SW but I messaged them on my anonymous Instagram account. I wanted them to join so they could tell their story here and so I could read without them knowing it’s me as here I don’t reveal my true identity. It’s up to you. They might not care much past just attempting to find you here when they’ve got a spare few minutes.
