Have you ever tried one of them E-bike things?

I had the day off and wanted to hire one to go for a cruise. I don't know what type it was. The engine would only kick in when I peddled and the 5 settings seem to relate to 5km increments in speed. I didn't have a booking and just hoped they had one free. Spoke to 4 people to be able to rent it and all seemed to think I was only going the other way. (I had already walked that distance to get there)
So I got the bike jumped on and the thing took off like a stabbed rat. Made me think I could do more then I was capable but I made it the 38 kms till the end. Coming back was harder. My legs are knackered. 😅
