I’m 28 and every romantic prospect I had suddenly disappeared. Does true love actually exist? Is everybody promised a partner?

If I turn 30 single I’m just giving up.

To be honest, that is how I see “concept of love” these days. I lost interest of it since I became tired of disappointments, attachments, and the game of “looking” or “hide-and-seek”.
I’m not giving up tho. I’m just not looking. If it finds me tomorrow then that’s good.
If it’ll find me at my 30s, 40s, 50s, that’s okay.

I think of it like I’m holding out for someone who’ll speak the same language as mine (not literally), or who’ll make me change my mind about being disinterested of romance.

Because if I let myself go into the wrong relationship - we’re just wasting our time, aren’t we?

By the way, the concept of true love is you and him or her are willing to choose to be together. Hope you’ll find someone who’ll take that risk with you!
@stayfickle that’s a really good mindset, thank you for sharing
