How come it's called "thrift store shopping" instead of “Goodwill hunting”?

@Gibbon It is the big name in thrift stores but yeah there are others like Salvation Army, even though their stores look like they haven't been updated since 1981.

@HoeBag There are some scattered around that are run by church organizations that have good quality stuff not picked over by the employees. The best stuff that goes to goodwill never sees the sales floor.

@Gibbon I have heard that but ya know, one person's trash is another's treasure, so "good" is subjective.

I like how at goodwill they have this "Designer bag" section but it is a bunch of knock-off. 😄
