Say honestly people, was it heartless of me to laugh at that scene?

So today I was watching this 2007 Bollywood movie Cheeni Kam. In the movie, the actor Amitabh Bacchan who was 64 is shown to be fallen in love with actress Tabu who was 34 and planning to marry. Amitabh is shown as a chef in a restaurant in London but he went to Delhi to convince Tabu's dad for the marriage as he was against it due to the age gap. But suddenly a very sad scene happened towards the end and Amitabh Bacchan was crying. Idk why but i was getting laugh seeing Amitabh cry. The scene itself was sad but idk why Amitabh sounded so funny while crying. It was just funny seeing a 64-65 year old man crying like that. I am worried whether that makes me heartless and whether its super immature behavior as a 25 year old. What do you feel? I found the scene genuinely sad and only got laugh seeing Amitabh's crying.

As someone who laughed as the curb stomp at the beginning of American History X, I am not one to judge

(I laughed bc I had never seen that method before, not bc of the racism. Just wanna make that clear)

Also, some people laugh during sad times. Not because they think it's funny, but because they don't know how else to react. It's a way of coping.
