I couldn’t even begin to count them. I’m naturally a hopeless optimist who has to look for the silver lining in order to not be weighed down by reality, but there’s been more than a few times where I just couldn’t see the silver lining because reality was too blunt and even harsh for me to. And that’s okay. In some instances there isn’t one. The grief/hardship has to be the only thing felt and seen so it can have its proper moment to envelop you. Everything, even the hard moments in life, deserve that recognition. It truly sucks but it’s a part of character development.
