You know you're an Albertan when

You have been outside for hours and the temperature is heading south of -40. You have lost all feeling in your fingers and toes. Your eyes are almost frozen shut. The wind is so strong it blew you over 4 times and on the way home you stop in at 7/11 for a extra large slurpee.

I remember being in the Finnish Arctic and I’d forgotten the frames of my glasses would burn my face. Happily it was only temporary.
