This is why neuro-atypical people (like me) and labelled as 'diseased' and 'inhuman' by many who think neuro-atypicality is a mental illness (ie. a 'problem) requiring a solution (ie. a 'cure'). The medical model is a disgusting way to categorise people who don't fit into what's considered neuro-typical behaviour, thinking, etc.
