Why is the world becoming so intolerant to others who are different?

Politicians the world over are stoking the fear. Xenophobia is at an all-time high in order to keep us at each other's throats instead of realizing who the real enemy is.

@AthrillatheHunt I think you may or may not be a victim of some of this fear-stoking, if you think there's some kind of mass migration invasion going on. I'm noticing a fair number of non-white individuals, which I'm happy to see in Portland, since it has a history of being a bit monochromatic.

@AthrillatheHunt It's more of a "that's not a completely accurate portrayal of the situation". However, immigration has increased, and that does scare certain melanophobic individuals.
