Honestly, I do this at least once a month at the grocery store.

Not quite but I think I gave the shopping cart a good look in confusion. I have tried to get into cars parked on a couple of occasions that were identical to my car. Wondered why I couldn’t get in and one time an old man approached me asking if I was trying to get into his car.

At Walmart over 30 years ago. I got scared because it happened in the women’s clothing area and I saw some rough-looking women shopping in there. I didn’t notice until I was pretty far away and my daughter said “You are buying paints for me?” Looked down and there was a set of art paints in the basket. Told her if she’d go back and get take the cart and swap it for my cart and bring it back I’d buy her some paints. 😂

Nope. I usually have my cart in a death grip, using it for support. I have a lot of lower back pain, so...when grocery shopping, I never let go of the cart! Sorry! I sympathize, though.

No, but I’ve had people do that to me. An old lady and my iced coffee and purse was in the cart, so I was stressed chasing her haha . She legit thought it was her cart.

I put a can of shaving cream in someone else's cart yesterday...the guy was standing right there and said thanks I almost forget. We both laughed...

I remember after you paid for all the food i walked away with your shopping its was great i got so much free food 😊

I use to do it all the time when I was a kid shopping with my mother in a supermarket. I have even been chased by the rightful owner of a shopping cart who was trying to get her cart back, but I always outran them every time!
