What do u think of when u hear the word...November ? 🍁

Sweet November is here.
How sweet it is, especially right here in the USA. 🇺🇲
It is a very beautiful month.
Blue skies, and wall to wall sunshine. 🌞
What do you think of when you hear the word November.
I think about pecans and sweet potato pie.
I think hot steamy beef soup with peanut butter crackers on the side.
I think chilly windy days. I think homecoming high school football games and celebrations.
I think about Veterans Day. I think ...I think Election Day and Thanksgiving.
I think falling leaves on the ground and the grass turning brown.
What do you think about when you hear the word November. 🎃

I don't really think of much, like, lidy, ya know...

If I actually think on it for more than a moment...

Technically, November is the ninth month, but, this was back when people used ten month calendars. Non- is the prefix for nine, with Dec- being ten.

One Nonillion is a lot; 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
I think I'm gonna stop here.

@Amyrakunejo that is really cool. I never really thought much about how November got its name. As a lifelong learner you inspired me to look it up. Here is what I discovered.

November is named after the Latin word for "nine," novem, because it was originally the ninth month of the early Roman calendar. The month retained its name after the Romans later added January and February to the calendar, which moved November to its current position as the 11th month.
Latin origin: The name comes directly from the Latin word novem.
Original position: In the ancient Roman calendar, which began with March, November was the ninth month.
Name retained: When January and February were added to the start of the calendar, November kept its name, along with September, October, and December, which are also named after their original Roman number-based order (seven, eight, and ten).
