Do you find it hard to trust people?

It's just the fact that most everyone I know has been so self serving. And it's hard to believe what people say because they take it back, they are not consistent, and their needs always come first. It's so disheartening trying to make friends or God forbid, try to find love. It's so much to bear mentally, you just want to stay home always. But that's not Life😢

Yes, I find it harder now than ever before. People are ultra quick to react. They block, delete, ghost. If it isn't that, is a steady decline over days or weeks when they lose focus or desire to engage. Friendships used to matter more. Compassion for people we barely knew meant something. Not so much now. I still yearn to connect.
