I'm really worried about my friend and her daughter.

Her daughter isn't even a year old yet and has lost a lot of weight. To the point they've having to insert an NG tube to feed her. She's still throwing all the milk back up so they're probably gonna have to use a cannula. They're suspecting a possible autoimmune condition. Nothing determined yet.

They've been back and forth at the hospital for a while. I went to visit them when they got home like 2 weeks ago, took a gift for both her daughter and her, just something to make them smile but she sounds so discouraged in the voice notes she's sending me🥺

I know there's very little I can do but it truly sucks seeing her like this. I'm probably gonna visit again tomorrow.

Awww, I hope they can figure it out! I know how scary it can be when your baby isn't getting nutrition, we went through it with mine for several months and she got down to the 3rd percentile for weight but eventually rebounded. Hopefully your friend's child will get a diagnosis and an effective treatment soon!
