Is it possible to live comfortably and happily without spending ANY money?

I am starting to see the vicious cycle of earning more money only to spend more money which yields the desire to earn more to enable more spending. I need to find an offramp. It's literally a hamster wheel inserted by a SIMS player with malicious intentions.
