Today’s small victories

A man jumping in joy, shouting “we birthed a daughter” over and over, while his mother in law kept correcting him, reminding him it was his wife who did, not him.

Another case of maybe she will survive crossing to she will certainly be okay.

I had only one crepe for lunch and two boazis. The usual kid came up and asked me for it. I split what I had. Then he asked if I had meat. I teased, “who do you think you are? We ate meat yesterday.” He answered “a puppy.” and then sat there telling me why he likes boazis.

I got angry today, really angry. But I held it for the right time and the right place and kept most of it contained until it passed.

I got pretty dress and I will wear it on Monday.

A young man that lives nearby went missing after a fight with his parents over a haircut. He’s a well behaved and sweet guy. I went looking and found him in the old abondoned mosque built by my ancestors’ tomb, praying alone. Grateful he was safe. He will start university this year and I want him to do great. Took him home and tried to meditate. Looks like they will be fine.

Now I am home, cuddling with my blanket , room smells so nice. I will sleep and rest up. Tomorrow is waiting for me.
