I can't tell if i am going crazy

The manager keeps mentioning to me how her new apartment is "smaller than [mine]", and all kinds of reasons that she doesn't like it and it's not good.

I guess she is trying to make me feel guilty, since supposedly I am the reason she is leaving town.

She chose to resign and she chose that apartment. I don't really understand.

We got in a fight, but we have been in many this summer. This is just the one I started, and admitted to her that I don't like listening to her talk negatively about others, and that I was upset at some of the things she has said to me in the past.

P.S. she also got angry at me that I joined a book club without telling her

wut

I noticed I kind of hold my breath around her and get this sick feeling because I am always nervous about what she is going to say or how angry she is going to get, or what kind of guilt-tripping nonsense I will have to listen to.

Sorry, I know I need to stop complaining about this.

They are her emotions and reactions and she is allowed to have them.

I just need to remove myself from it
@caccoon On the contrary I think it's good you're sharing.
I may be wrong but based on what I'm reading it sounds like she's an extremely insecure person. I suspect she may harbor a little jealousy.

That's the point of this forum, though. Right? Bouncing back and forth on essential ideas and questions with your peers. You know, making positive impacts on people's lives.

What am I doing here? All I do is crack lame jokes (mostly at my expense) and post stupid goofy gifs (that I spend way too much time on, that I really shouldn't be), and in no way contribute to helping this community with positive feedback and affirmations.

Oh hey! Kansas City lost!

Wait. What was I doing right now? Oh well, I'm going to check my fantasy football......

Getting mad about not telljng her you joined a book club is psychotic. Idk K, it sounds like she mjght be spiraling and you were something she could feel she control and be a saviour to and now shes losing that and it bothers her

@MethDozer it's making me feel guilty and it's crazy

I think there is a lot of truth in your words

I think there were moments we were healthy for one another and good friends too, but yeah it's definitely gotten toxic af

@caccoon IDk, she seems to be acting differently then what she did when we used to talk often. Maybe you never noticed, maybe that side wasnt being shown, or maybe its just a change from her divorce and shit and it's a trauma response and coping. Something js going on though and it isnt healthy to be in

@MethDozer she always has been controlling of me, I just never noticed. (Other people did though).

It's definitely gotten worse, and she is constantly trauma dumping on people. It's really awful to be around

I'm worried she is going to badmouth me to everyone... Which is what she does. But people know me so I think it will be okay.

She has been talking to someone else I work for though and it's made things a little awkward.
