How was your Near Death experience?

There was no light or tunnel in mine. No friends or pets or family members waiting for me.

It was dark and scary.

Edit..

I fell head first onto a concrete floor. Everything went into a point until it was nothing but black. And silence. Complete and utter isolation. Nothing but darkness.

I also. knew that it went forever with no way out.

I was always in the center on this infinite blackness.

It was immensely scary.

Edit 2

After what seemed like a long long time, I said...Come on man, I'm not that bad..Give me a break here.

Right there I woke up in the hospital.

After I found out I was going to have a baby, my friend Katie and I went to the beach to go swimming. I swam out too far and got caught in a rip tide. I didn't know back then how to swim out of it. I remember yelling help and a guy on a surfboard just glanced at me. I began to accept that I was drowning and felt peaceful, accepting it, ready to die. Then heard my friend yell I'm coming for you. She put her arm around my neck then swam us back. When we got back to the beach she said I was pale even tho I had a tan. Thanks to Katie, (who had just finished taking a life saving swimming course), saved both my daughter and I.

@Blondily drowning is the opposite of peaceful 😂
Blondily · F
@Ferise1 True but I did feel that way because I was praying and knew my time was up!

@Blondily you clearly weren’t in danger of suffocating/drowning… because you would’ve felt a real panic
Blondily · F
@Ferise1 I panicked when I couldnt swim back. I was starting to drown, having a hard time staying afloat. This was the pacific ocean at Imperial beach near San Diego. I was stupid for swimming in it.

@Blondily well I went out to surf in 12 foot waves. It was way above my level. I had to paddle non-stop to stay out of the impact zone because there was a strong current pulling me there…. It was so terrifying and I knew exactly what drowning was because I was in danger of it imminently. It’s the worst pain and effort possible. I can’t explain the pain of drowning. It’s way beyond our comprehension.

Wow@Ferise1!
Very scary and we're both lucky to be alive. After my experience I never went swimming again.

@Blondily kinda like me riding motorcycles.
Crashed it once. Never rode again.

@Infamous607 I guess we learn from mistakes we never want to repeat again.
