I won't link it because I don't want to see the images again but there is a memorial website documenting when a military unit from my country massacred unarmed women and children in Vietnam in the 90's.
Americans love pretending our country is perfect, and deflecting things like this by talking about identity politics, but guess what—that was perpetrated during a democratic presidency, and covered up during a republican one.
And it's far from the only example of a "first world" force doing such an awful thing.
War is an excuse for psychopaths to act like psychopaths.

I'm not sure the masses are apathetic. I think they are ignorant of the evil some people can do.

@Infamous607 That can be included in the definition of apathy.
By all means, have a saying that can translate to word per word "the blessings are in the few". It is used to say a small group of people can be more successful than a large one. So perhaps we don't need everyone to take action, we need the ones who already genuinely care get more organized and invested. Personally I have dealt with too many weak links and now I try to be more selective about my expectations.

@Unquestioned The person you responded to blocked me years ago because I dug up their comments and activity back then. They are child groomers. They used to post encouragement under child abusive content and the sort.
Thank you for fighting for the innocent people of Ukraine.
