Help. This doesn't make sense

Ok 3 days ago I got a glue gun from Amazon, without the glue sticks. Because I wanted to use it to fix 2 things. Then I ordered glue sticks, which just arrived. All is good except that I have no idea what the hell I needed them for 😅
I can only remember the second thing but not the main thing.
