After our fight, the market manager has decided to resign and move away

I guess I was the last straw.

I feel responsible. Excellent. No wonder I feel guilty today.

We were good friends once...

But I hope this will be good for her and she can continue to heal and one day be happy.

Sorry your once good friend did that.

Regardless of that she did it because of the fight or not, please don't be manipulated by it.

@caccoon Yes, resigning is probably a lot of things adding up and is not that strange, but moving away even. It doesn't sound stable or she maybe had really tough circumstances. It probably would have happened anyway even without the fight.

@Classified she's mentioned it a few times before me getting upset with her.

She has had a REALLY shitty year.

I have tried to be there for her as much as I can, I helped her move a few times, been an ear whenever I could, tried to help her through with gestures and words, taken a lot of passive aggression, and being yelled at.

Unfortunately our friendship has crumbled for now, though we are civil

@caccoon That's rough on her. You have been kind to her. You wanted to extend your kindness to others to and that was what the conflict was about, right?

It sounds like she took something personally that she didn't have to. Not your fault. 🤗
