My ex that strangled me texted me at 4am this morning to ask me out for coffee

I recently forgave him for what he did a year ago, when I saw him at a social event.

I am happy with the peace.

Since I have gotten a new phone, I didn't have his number or have it blocked.

I should not reply, right? Or should I just say no thank you and explain why?

I'd ignore it. As soon as you engage he's gonna be the nice guy, until he's not. And personally I'd be afraid he was just trying to get even or something weird.

@ScreamingFox I feel this as well. I know he'd be able to charm me, he's VERY charming. And yeah I think ignoring is the best policy.

I appreciate everyone's feedback, it helps. It's so easy to feel guilty about ignoring someone being "kind"
