When I was 20, I went back to Australia and I surfed a lot and smoked pot and I just stopped working. I live on benefits. But I don’t think one can go through life like that.

When I was going through a divorce I didn’t work for about 2 years. Finding a job that paid well enough to afford childcare for 3 kids was impossible. Then I lost my job because of Covid and it took me 2 months to get another job.
