Can I do anything useful with my life?

I'm 29 and have nothing going for me. I have experience in auto repair, that's it. And tbh I feel like that's not enough.

Even if I go back to doing that I just feel so useless and unmotivated all the time. I think I failed my parents.

It takes ages for lots of people to make it/settle down. I'm 31 and still have problems like that. There are lots of us. Society is to blame. You will get there. You're still only young. Be careful lots of people are looking good and have stuff but are in debts.

Go to community college nursing is huge right now pays very well. Or at community college just learn a skill meet people. Seriously it will revitalize you learn to have fun again. New people new places new things.Or join a book club meetup group take up a hobby (baking or board games) anything that interests you. Be productive. Try something new.

I think most people have normal jobs like that. Auto repair is a useful skill. You can always persue other ideas while working. I don't think your parents should be disappointed in you.

I totally get where you're coming from, but you can always keep trying. You can't fail if you haven't given up yet.

Kids don’t fail their parents. You’ve got it backwards.
@SwampFlower I think some of my memories are wrong. And my parents were always excited and confident about being parents until I told them about some of them.

Now that you've defined the problem, what are you going to do to fix it?
